​Live illustration is a wonderful addition to any event, it could be a private party, corporate event or Wedding day. Hiring an illustrator is sure to make any day extra special, and offers a unique experience for your event.
A fantastic icebreaker, I paint discreetly throughout your event and offer a way to capture memorable moments and memories of the day. As an added bonus, your guests will get the chance to take home their own painting as a gift or wedding favour.

About your live illustration booking

Tailored to fit around your day. I'm happy to advise and work with you for the best timeframes.

Each A6 portrait will be packed in a protective sleeve once dry and displayed for guests to take home.

Any photographs of the day will be sent to you free of charge after the event if you wish. (who can say no to extra memories right?)

Custom made rubber stamp / or stickers for your day - yours to keep after the event.

4 hours: from £525 (up to 40 guests)
5 hours: from £675 (up to 50 guests)
6 hours: from £825 (up to 60 guests)

Have more than 60 guests? It is possible to arrange a price to cover the remaining guests in studio and send you the illustrations after the event.

Alternatively, perhaps think about ordering my hand-painted place settings giving every guest a tiny portrait to take home on the day. (see below for information)
Bespoke Packages and other info:
If you are looking for a truly bespoke package, I would love to talk to you about other special touches, such as capturing details of your day in beautiful watercolours and creating an art book especially. This will be a mix of 'on the day' painting and studio work and will quoted per booking, following consultation.
Live portrait of the couple:
Immortalize your memories of your day, captured in paint. I will illustrate a unique memory in approximately A3 size of the happy couple. This can either be completed fully on the day, or the finishing touches completed in my home studio. This can also be combined with some live guest painting to capture as much of the day as possible. Get in touch for a quote.
Bespoke Stationary
Another great talking point for the day! hand-painted place settings.

Painted in a cute sketchy illustrated style, I will paint your guests onto Place settings. They can be either folded over (as pictured), or flat to put into a clip holder to match your table. (if you would like a different shape, such as bookmark or rounded, please get in touch and I will discuss any price changes involved)

​​​​During the event l paint around 8-10 guests per hour in my signature style (please take this into account when working out the best timeframe for your event). This may vary slightly on whether I am illustrating 1 or more people in a single illustration. I will take photos of guests as they arrive and throughout, within the timeframe, and they will be able to take home their painting once it is completed.
I don't charge for set-up time. All paid for time is available for live painting, although if over 4 hours, I may need a short break of 15-20 minutes. Bookings are secured with a deposit, with the remainder paid no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. Please let me know if you have any more questions or if you need to split the deposit over 2 payments. I would recommend booking fairly soon to secure your date.
Travel costs will be charged accordingly depending on distance from Newcastle. If accommodation is necessary due to timings or distance, these will also be included in the price (although, my first choice is always to come home to my own bed wherever possible)
The deposit is non refundable (except in exceptional circumstances such as, if the booking is cancelled by the vendor)
Any extras must be agreed upon and paid for no later than 2 weeks prior to the event, and in some cases, may require an additional deposit.
